Corners you could hurdle, peek around and look for
I ached to be accepted
Accepted in a society
Where every abnormal demeanor, distortion, or scar
Scars you for life, mentally and without trial
I ached to love and be loved
Be loved in a world like this?
Mother Nature laughs in my face
Greed spits at my feet
And the order goes back to normal
